The featured speaker was Professor Robert Gordon, former personal secretary to, and the first western person designated as a brahmachari and "deerskin carrier" by Maharishi. Robert has a PhD from Princeton University. He has held posts at the Universities of California, New Mexico, and Oregon, with a speciality in American religious history.
